Main Event Auctions History

Darin Lee's Auction career started back in 1978 when he began work for the family Auction business. The business was sold in 1999. Due to a non-compete agreement with the new owners, Darin was not allowed to sell in this area for the next ten years. During that time he started an Auction Business in Rapid City SD, selling Business liquidations, Estates, Antiques, and Farm and Ranch sales. While he was conducting sales with his own Auction Company, he was also the lead Auctioneer for Coldwell Bankers Real Estate by Auction division also based in Rapid city. Until recently he has been in Arizona working as a "contract" Auctioneer for several Auction firms throughout the west. Darin has now returned to the Auction Business in Northern Minnesota in full force.
